Tree of Hope Lighting Ceremony

An iconic Kelowna tradition, the Tree of Hope Lighting Ceremony marks the start of the giving season. The tree lighting ceremony will be at 5pm, so make sure to be there early!
The 120-foot illuminated tree stands as a beacon of community spirit and generosity, raising awareness and funds for CRIS Adaptive Adventures and Special Olympics through the Stober Foundation. Families, friends, and visitors gather in the Landmark District Courtyard to enjoy music, hot drinks, and the dazzling moment when the massive tree lights up the skyline. There will me outdoor skating (bring your own skates), photos with Santa, Christmas market, and hot chocolate!
Holiday Magic Market at Rotary Centre for the Arts

Step into the festive season surrounded by creativity and craftsmanship. The Holiday Magic Market features over 50 local artisans, crafters, and food vendors in one of Kelowna’s most artistic spaces. Expect handmade pottery, art prints, jewelry, winter wear, and gourmet goodies, perfect for thoughtful, locally made gifts.
Admission is by donation, all proceeds are shared between the Kelowna Salvation Army, Mamas for Mamas, and the Kelowna SPCA
