Downtown comes alive with the sparkle of the season during this beloved free community event. Browse local artisan stalls, enjoy live entertainment, and warm up with a cup of hot chocolate (by donation) before gathering for the official tree lighting ceremony at 5 p.m. Expect everything from handmade ornaments and holiday décor to locally roasted coffee, baked goods, and winter fashion.

Delta Grand Holiday Market

Location: Delta Hotels by Marriott Grand Okanagan Resort

Kick off your holiday shopping at the Delta Grand Holiday Market. This elegant indoor market transforms the resort’s ballroom into a festive wonderland filled with 80 vendors. Local makers, gourmet treats, and one-of-a-kind gifts. You’ll find everything from artisan jewelry and home décor to delicious local wines, honey, and handmade candles all while supporting Okanagan entrepreneurs.

Tree of Hope Lighting Ceremony

Location: Landmark District
Date: November 22nd

An iconic Kelowna tradition, the Tree of Hope Lighting Ceremony marks the start of the giving season.  The tree lighting ceremony will be at 5pm, so make sure to be there early!

The 120-foot illuminated tree stands as a beacon of community spirit and generosity, raising awareness and funds for CRIS Adaptive Adventures and Special Olympics through the Stober Foundation. Families, friends, and visitors gather in the Landmark District Courtyard to enjoy music, hot drinks, and the dazzling moment when the massive tree lights up the skyline. There will me outdoor skating (bring your own skates), photos with Santa, Christmas market, and hot chocolate!

Holiday Magic Market at Rotary Centre for the Arts

Location: Rotary Centre for the Arts
Dates: November 21 – 22
Times: Nov 21: 1pm – 7pm | Nov 22: 10am – 4pm

Step into the festive season surrounded by creativity and craftsmanship. The Holiday Magic Market features over 50 local artisans, crafters, and food vendors in one of Kelowna’s most artistic spaces. Expect handmade pottery, art prints, jewelry, winter wear, and gourmet goodies, perfect for thoughtful, locally made gifts.

Admission is by donation, all proceeds are shared between the Kelowna Salvation Army, Mamas for Mamas, and the Kelowna SPCA
